Abstract

mechanistic understanding of the diverse clinical manifestations of Parkinson's disease (PD) and variable patient response to treatments is lacking. Genetically diverse PD model organisms can be used to map modifier genes and understand clinically relevant phenotypes of varying severity. This strategy can accelerate the pace of discoveries for precision medicine purposes.
