Abstract
El libro Diseño saludable. Arquitectura para la salud pública en Chile, escrito por los arquitectos Andrew Collyer y Jaime Sáez, e ilustrado por el artista Juan Céspedes, es una invitación a ser testigos de la épica de diez años de proyección y construcción de hospitales en Chile. Invita al lector a ver el diseño aplicado al área de la salud con un carácter versátil y creativo. La portada, que desarticula el título mostrando tres palabras aisladas: diseño-salud-able (en inglés capaz, hábil, competente, apto), deja a la libre interpretación el contenido posterior, a modo de invitación lúdica para formar parte de este viaje y acompañar a los arquitectos en el desarrollo de proyectos de alta complejidad, como es el proyecto de la red hospitalaria.
The book Diseño saludable. Arquitectura para la salud pública en Chile (Healthy Desing. Architecture for public health in Chile), written by architects Andrew Collyer and Jaime Sáez, and illustrated by artist Juan Céspedes, is an invitation to witness the epic of ten years of hospital design and construction in Chile. It invites the reader to see design applied to health with a versatile and creative approach. The cover, which disarticulates the title by showing three isolated words: design-health-able (in English capable, skilful, competent, apt), leaves the subsequent content to free interpretation as a playful invitation to be part of this journey and accompany architects in the development of highly complex projects, such as the hospital network project.
