| dc.description.abstract | En octubre de 2022, un equipo docente interdisciplinar formuló un desafío en la Semana i de la Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD), titulado Visibilizar a los invisibles: empatizando con los más vulnerables, con el objetivo de producir un mapa digital y una narrativa multimedia de Gente en Situación de Calle (GSC) de la ciudad de Santiago. Por medio de una metodología mixta de preparación y aplicación de instrumentos de recolección de información, un grupo de 20 estudiantes de distintas carreras realizaron una investigación social que generó aprendizajes técnicos y experienciales. Por un lado, el taller permitió a alumnas y alumnos introducirse en la complejidad de formular un cuestionario de manera ágil y participativa, según la praxis del diseño de innovación colaborativa, así como aplicarlo a una muestra intencional de personas en situación de calle. Por otro lado, el curso evaluó reflexivamente los prejuicios y sesgos que se desinstalaron luego de los encuentros presenciales con los entrevistados, así como las emociones que emanaron del trabajo de campo. Como experiencia pedagógica, se constata el valor de la transdisciplina, de la plasticidad metodológica y de la producción tecnológica y digital para visibilizar problemas complejos y emergentes de la sociedad actual. In October 2022, an interdisciplinary teaching team formulated a challenge at the Universidad del Desarrollo’s (UDD) i-Week, entitled "Making the invisible visible": Empathising with the most vulnerable, to produce a digital map and a multimedia narrative of People in Street Situation (PSC) in the city of Santiago. A group of 20 students from various degree programs conducted social research using mixed methods to prepare and apply data collection tools, resulting in technical and experiential learning. The workshop introduced students to formulating an agile and participatory questionnaire, using collaborative innovation design, and applying it to a purposive sample of people in street situations. On the other hand, the course reflexively evaluated the prejudices and biases that were uninstalled after the face-to-face meetings with the interviewees and the emotions that emanated from the fieldwork. As a pedagogical experience, the value of transdisciplinarity, methodological plasticity and technological and digital production to make complex and emerging problems of today's society visible is confirmed. | |
