dc.description.abstractChile es un país que ha ido envejeciendo, donde las enfermedades crónicas y de deterioro cognitivo han ido en aumento. Por esta razón, para acompañar el proceso que conlleva una enfermedad, un familiar asume el rol de cuidador, el que en la mayoría de los casos suele ser de género femenino. Objetivo:Apoyar a la organización en el contacto con la comunidad egresada. Metodología: Se aplicó el Modelo PRECEDE-PROCEDE en la elaboración de intervenciones en primera instancia, para valorar y posteriormente implementar una intervención acorde al diagnóstico participativo de la comunidad en estudio. La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas junto con un Google Forms enviado mediante correo institucional con una serie de preguntas orientadas a la participación de actividades de la comunidad. Resultado yDiscusión: Mediante los relatos que se obtuvieron de los participantes de la comunidad se identificaron los tres elementos claves de cohesión social, además de ampliar la mirada desde la perspectiva del Modelo Ecológico de Bronfenbrenner, específicamente en cómo interactúa el ambiente con el individuo y la perspectiva de género que se otorga al rol de cuidador. Conclusión: Se logró cumplir los objetivos planteados al inicio del proyecto y presentarlos a la organización de acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos al contactar a la comunidad. Chile is an aging country where chronic diseases and cognitive impairment have been on the rise. Therefore, in order to accompany the process that an illness entails, a family member assumes the role of caregiver, which in most cases is usually female. Objectives: To support the organization in the contact with the community. Methodology: The PRECEDE-PROCEED Model was applied in the development of interventions in the first instance, to assess and subsequently implement an intervention according to the participatory diagnosis of the community under study. The research was carried out through semi-structured interviews together with a Google Form sent by institutional mail with a series of questions oriented to the participation of community activities. Result andDiscussion: Through the accounts obtained from community participants, the three key elements of social cohesion were identified, in addition to broadening the view from the perspective of Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Model, specifically on how the environment interacts with the individual and the gender perspective that is given to the role of caregiver. Conclusion: The objectives set at the beginning of the project were achieved and presented to the organization according to the results obtained by contacting the community.
