Abstract

A great challenge is currently being experienced as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Higher education is not excluded from this situation, which requires a transition from face-to-face education to a technology-based modality. Objective: to propose a methodological framework for the implementation of digital technologies in an undergraduate nursing program. The methodology was presented in 4 stages: diagnostic, professor training and digital technology (DT) implementation, course and project selection, and DT implementation monitoring. Among the results, the training provided to the professors, the implementation of 9 courses using b-learning modality and 4 projects with DT stand out. Conclusion: This has contributed to the development of competencies in professors and students, which allowed them to face the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 with better preparation
