dc.description.abstract | The mitigating textures project presents an alternative design strategy for coastal infrastructure, aimed at reducing the impact of storm surges in Chile’s V region, specifically in the coastal city of Viña del Mar. The project combines advanced technologies, such as 3d printing, with the use of native vegetation to develop sustainable and locally adapted interventions. These solutions are intended to protect vulnerable coastal areas while promoting long-term resilience and fostering a more ecologically integrated urban environment. | |
