dc.description.abstractA patient diagnosed with pulmonary embolism had persistent symptoms despite adequate therapy. Tissue sampling with endobronchial ultrasound-guided needle aspiration revealed endovascular metastasis from a prior early-stage colorectal cancer. We describe the challenges in the diagnosis and workup of suspected tumor emboli.
