dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este artículo es analizar el ejercicio de los derechos de identidad, protección y participación de la niñez migrante que vive en el campamento Vicente Reyes (Maipú, Chile). Mediante metodologías cualitativas, se realizó una observación participante en talleres infantiles durante tres meses y entrevistas semiestructuradas a madres y padres extranjeros. Los resultados muestran que los derechos de adscripción se ejercen caracterizados por la identidad híbrida de las nuevas generaciones, las cuales mantienen referentes culturales del país de origen al mismo tiempo que adhieren a valores y prácticas del país de destino; que los derechos de protección se ven vulnerados por las condiciones de vida de alta precariedad socioeconómica y habitacional; y que los derechos de participación se ejercen en el marco de un proyecto de la ONG Proyecto Amar Migrar, que ofrece apoyo escolar y encuentros interculturales. Se concluye que las condiciones estructurales de exclusión dificultan el ejercicio de los derechos humanos, pero una intervención basada en enfoque de derechos promueve la inclusión de la niñez marginada. Las políticas públicas deberían considerar esta realidad para garantizar la integración de la niñez migrante mediante el ejercicio de sus derechos. The aim of this article is to analyze the exercise of the rights of identity, protection, and participation of migrant children living in the Vicente Reyes Camp (Maipú, Chile). Using qualitative methodology, participant observation was carried out in children's workshops over a period of three months, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with foreign mothers and fathers. The results show that the rights of affiliation are exercised in a way that is characterized by a hybrid identity among the new generations, who maintain cultural references from their country of origin while also adhering to the values and practices of their country of destination. while protection rights are violated by highly precarious socioeconomic and housing conditions. Finally, participation rights are exercised in the NGO project Proyecto Amar Migrar, which offers school support and intercultural encounters. It is concluded that structural conditions of exclusion hinder the exercise of human rights, but an intervention based on a rights-based approach promotes the inclusion of marginalized children. Public policies should take this reality into account to ensure the integration of migrant children through the exercise of their rights.
