Los libros y los artículos se leen en dos niveles de interrogación: de qué se habla y qué se dice sobre ello. El título representa lo primero y los capítulos lo segundo. Si un escrito en el mundo del diseño es extraño, un trabajo sobre metodologías para el diseño y las artes lo es aún más. El libro “Investigación cualitativa para Diseño y Artes” de Sergio Donoso, es pionero en este sentido. En su opera prima y con buen olfato, el autor advierte este vacío e intenta superar el déficit reconociendo que en el diseño existe una metodología proyectual, pero que pocas veces ha sido formalizada. Books and articles have two levels of interpretation: what is being discussed and what is being said about it. The title represents the former, and the chapters the latter. If a piece of writing about design is uncommon, a work on methodologies for design and the arts is even stranger. Sergio Donoso's book "Qualitative Research for Design and the Arts" is a pioneer. In his debut and with a good sense of intuition, the author notices this gap and tries to overcome the deficit by recognising that a project methodology exists in design but has yet to be formalised.
