El juego permite a niños y niñas aprender y desarrollarse de forma integral. Esto toma una fuerza particular cuando el juego se realiza al aire libre y en contacto con la naturaleza, generando mayores oportunidades y desafíos a esta actividad que es vital para la primera infancia. Pero, pese a la contundente evidencia de los beneficios de aprender, estar y jugar al aire libre, son pocas las iniciativas que se han apropiado de este enfoque pedagógico en nuestro país. La educación al aire libre ofrece, además, grandes oportunidades de colaboración entre diseñadores y educadores. When discussing the well-being of children, it is crucial to acknowledge the role of play. Through play, children can learn and grow in all aspects of their development. This is particularly strong when play occurs outdoors and in contact with nature, creating greater opportunities and challenges for this vital early childhood activity. Although there is convincing evidence of the advantages of learning, being, and playing outdoors, very few initiatives in our country have adopted this pedagogical approach. Outdoor education also presents excellent opportunities for collaboration between designers and educators.
